Troiano, tenor soloist. organist, and choral director was born in
Hamtramck, Michigan and holds degrees in Philosophy and Music at
the undergraduate level, and a graduate degree in Vocal
Performance from Wayne State University.
For over twenty years, Mr. Troiano's choral conducting experience
has encompassed a wide variety of styles and genres, meeting the
needs of the various ensembles, while challenging his singers
toward vocal and choral excellence. Past choral positions have
included: Broadway musicals for community theatres, women's
ensembles; children's choirs at the Centre for Creative Studies in
Detroit; and numerous church choirs. He has also taught American
music to several ensembles in Poland. As a vocal instructor, he
has held positions at Macomb Community College, University of
Windsor and St. Mary's College, while also maintaining a private
studio.
Currently Mr. Troiano resides in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, where
he is music director at a local church, choral director for Notre
Dame high School and the choral director for the International
Symphony Orchestra. |
